Collaborations...

Collaborations...

This is where the synergy can be found... Old projects, new experiments, it's all gonna pop up here from time to time... I never quite know who will be in the studio, and where that might lead... So far it's been farther and fewer between, though more is always looming on the horizon...  These are for fun, and a bit revealing, so be easy on me for sharing...

"Moroccan Tacos" is from 2006... It features K.V.W. or 'Cavey Dub' as I called him... Kyle Kinsey and I were just free-styling over some music I threw down, about life and whatnot... He obviously had the better grasp on the hip hop voice, though I have found my obtuse rap persona to be hilarious, in its clumsy way... It was recorded in my old bedroom studio, literally under a porch, hence its name... 'Sub-Porch Studios'

"Embryonic Ego"
is from 2007... It features NorteChotic, or Jon Manier and myself... I still don't always get the flow, though it's fun to rub off on others as they rub off on me... Also recorded at 'Sub-Porch Studios...' I remember giving J. a hard time when he said, "my homies behind me..." because all I heard was him talking about his homy's behind... hah!

"Lords Of Materialism" is from a spoken word project I produced, featuring Ceb' Dan exclusively on the mic... I made the music and he spoke his words... The rest of the pieces from the project are more low key, but this track is by far my favorite one...  from November 2006...
